PHASE 2 - DAY 19

On 08-07-2021, Monday, I conducted an ICT based lesson for the poern "Taj Mahal" for 8 B students. In contrast to the grammar lesson conducted the last day, students showed much interest and enthusiasm towards ICT lesson. Teacher was surprised when the came to know that the learners were not able to recall the names of the seven wonders of the world. However the teacher noted a sudden and aprupt increase in the response of the student and the teacher analysed it as a change in her pedagogy. Learners were much thrilled when the teacher showed them the image of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz.

I felt it somewhat easy to transact the poem since the subject and the poet Tagore was familiar to the learners. The learners expressed theu desire to hear the teacher read the poem, when she played a youtube recital of the poem. this made the teacher happy. I was able to do the word study In a most engaging way with the help of different images.

Since it was an ICT lesson, teacher was adamant to make the learners use ICT resounes. So the teacher gave the compreh- ension questions using google forms which the learners accessed through the twolap- tops teacher brought to the class. this was a new experience to the teacher and the learners. The teacher faced no particular issues regarding google forms, as the leaners were very familiar with technology.

Teacher made all the students do the discourse unlike the comprehension in which She divided the class into two groups based en the availability of laptops. I also made Mahima and Aishwarya type the poem which they wrote. Overall it was a great experience and the class went good.
